Ismaya Group's cloud kitchen brand Yummy Corp receives funding

Yummy Corp, an affiliate of Ismaya Group, one of the leading brands in the lifestyle food & beverage company has raised an undisclosed amount in Series B round.

The Indonesia-based cloud kitchen company backed by SoftBank, has raised the funding from BRI Ventures through its Sembrani Nusantara Ventures Fund.

According reports, the current round is an extension of the cloud kitchen brand’s US$12 million series B round, which was led by SoftBank Ventures Asia in October 2020.

Yummy Corp provides delicious, fresh, and creative food solutions for everyday corporate and group needs.

As per company statement, they will use the funds raised to expand their cloud kitchen service, Yummy Kitchen to more than 50 new locations by the end of 2021.

It currently owns and runs more than 70 cloud kitchens in the Greater Jakarta, Medan, and Bandung areas.

“Yummy Kitchen’s total transactions to date had increased 7x compared with March last year, when the pandemic first began spreading in Indonesia,” said Mario Suntanu, CEO, Yummy Corp.

According to Tech in Asia, the company has also launched Yummy shop, which is an app that allows food sellers to manage online orders and receive payments. The cloud kitchen firm has also established a food court management platform that supports online transactions.

Yummy Corp has some well known lists of clients including; Unilever, Facebook, Shopee, Ascott Jakarta to name a few.

Ismaya Group today operates more than 70 outlets operating across Indonesia, Singapore, Shanghai, and Dubai.
