Cloud-kitchen Art of Dum from Foodlink enters Mumbai

After huge success of home-dining or cloud-kitchen brand Art of Dum in Dubai, Foodlink Restaurants has just launched the brand in Mumbai.

A gourmet delivery kitchen brand by Sanjay Vazirani’s Foodlink, the brand offers delicious, authentic flavours and elegant, sustainable packaging to Mumbai’s dining elite.

Art of Dum follows the traditional ‘Dum Pukht’ style of slow cooking, something that is rarely heard of in the cloud kitchen format.

“The cloud kitchen space in India has exploded, especially during the pandemic. We are excited to bring our addition to the cloud kitchen space to Mumbai’s diners, in an elevated, gourmet style that we know will be appreciated. Our emphasis on authentic flavours, zero compromise on cooking techniques, and thoughtful, sustainable packaging is what we believe sets Art of Dum apart. We are greatly looking forward to introducing the brand to Mumbai, and then to other key cities in India,” shared Vazirani.

The creations by the chefs pay homage to the culinary heritage of the royal kitchens of Awadh, characterized by rich aromas and flavours. The Dum Pukht style of slow cooking refers to letting the dishes breathe in their own aromas and juices. It is this technique that works like magic to beautifully infuse flavours from the various spices and herbs, making each dish a delight for the senses.

The Dum Pukht style of cooking takes hours of preparation, hence challenging the modern-day norm of ready to eat food that is prevalent in the delivery kitchen space. Art of Dum offers a traditional and healthier alternative with Dum Pukht dishes cooking in sealed clay pots that keep the flavours, taste as well as the nutrition of the food intact.

The brand also focuses on packaging with an emphasis on sustainability. This is seen via the brand’s use of reusable premium quality glass jars, clay handis and steel cutlery. The brand also encourages its customers to reuse and recycle their packaging.
