Mainak Ray has been elevated to the Director of Sales at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat.

In his current role, Mainak will be responsible for implementing new sales and marketing strategies in order to boost rooms & events sales at the hotel.

I am committed to implement new sales and marketing strategies in line with the hotel’s expansion and also work towards scaling the hotel to new heights,” he shared.

With over a decade of luxury hospitality sales experience in multiple cities across India, a versatile and analytical individual, Mainak’s key responsibility include transient & group pricing decisions, preparing budgets and forecasts, developing strategies, curating unique events to support the Rooms as well as F&B sales and positioning the hotel as a preferred wedding destination.

This young and dynamic professional has enjoyed an exponential career growth with top-of-the-line hospitality brands since completing his graduation from University of Calcutta, Kolkata and his Masters in International Management from University Of Sussex, United Kingdom in 2012.
