The Dinner Box Launches ‘Dilli,’ by Chef Sujan Sarkar

The Dinner Box, a pop-up, gourmet delivery service that brings together noted chefs from across the country with local Delhi restaurants in a collaborative format ha partnered with renowned chef Sujan Sarkar for its third-edition of the menu called ‘Dilli,’.

Following a hugely successful launch featuring menus by Chef Amninder Sandhu and a holiday feast by Chef Sarkar, The Dinner Box is now offering ‘Dilli,’ a curated, multi-course meal that re-imagines New Delhi’s culinary gems.

Chef Sujan’s signature culinary flair is, as always, on display in a menu that marries the traditional with unique, modern touches.

Some of the non-vegetarian delicacies include Kappa Shammi, with carambola chutney and sheermal bread; followed by Lamb Burrah, with shaved pickles and apricot chutney. Next, diners will enjoy Avocado & Sweetcorn Bhel, with avocado puree, kachha aam gel and a boondi bar; and Mushroom and Walnut Manti, with parmesan yakhni, winter greens and walnut crumble to name a few.

The vegetarian menu features Kappa Shammi, with carambola chutney and sheermal bread; followed by Beetroot Cutlet, with shaved pickles and kasundi mayonnaise. Avocado & Sweetcorn Bhel, with avocado puree, kachha aam gel and a boondi bar is next; followed by Mushroom and Walnut Manti, with parmesan yakhni, winter greens and walnut crumble. A main course of Paneer Pinwheel with red pepper makhni and chilli oil is accompanied by Lachha Paratha and Brown Onion Pulao.

To end the meal, diners can enjoy the seasonal Carrot Halwa Cake, replete with almond and pistachio.

A non-vegetarian meal for two is priced at Rs. 2800 or Rs. 3000 (for those who order the osso buco nihari); and a non-vegetarian meal for four people is priced at Rs. 5000 or Rs. 5500 (for those who order the osso buco nihari). A vegetarian meal for two is priced at Rs. 2400 and a meal for four people is priced at Rs. 4000. All prices are inclusive of taxes.
