Delhi-based burger chain The Burger Company is planning aiming to touch 100 stores by end of this year.
In 2021, the company continued its successful trend. It recorded system-wide sales growth in the previous year and has now declared that it would reach the milestone of 100 outlets across India by the end of the year.
Furthermore, the company intends to become the largest local burger chain by 2023.
"We are confident about our expansion efforts, and we foresee that our rising presence will yield positive returns," said Neelam Singh, Founder & CEO, The Burger Company.
The Burger Company presently has more than 40 restaurants in over 20 locations.
"While over 60 stores are in the pipeline, over 25 are now being fitted out." As is customary, we want to target Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities,” added Singh by pointing that they have seen the most difficult times throughout Covid.
“Even amid the lockdowns, franchisees maintained their faith in the brand. Covid helped us in emerging stronger, as the first two to three months were a period of intense learning for us. However, after that, we increased our stores during the covid, which is a morale boost for the entire squad. We are on our way to have 100 stores open by the end of the year,” she further added.Trending ArticleDaily UpdatesWhich is the highest format preference of Fun-Seeker?
