QSR chain Sbarro is planning to open more than 100 company and franchise outlet in 2022.
As per a release, it has entered into a franchise relationship with ARKO Corp's GPM Investments, EuroGarages, EG America and Travel Centers of America, to expand and grow the in the US and the UK.
"Sbarro is not new to convenience — we've been serving handmade extra-large NY slices to customers on-the-go since 1956," David Karam, CEO, Sbarro said in the release by adding that their experience, economical business model and position as the global QSR leader in the impulse pizza category, make convenience stores and travel centers natural fits for them.
“We're excited to partner with such strong organizations in this space,” added Karam.

GPM has three stores open with Sbarro in Indiana under their Village Pantry brand.
