McDonald’s is all set to go green in Israel with an aim to expand its customer base. The fast food giant will launch a vegan burger to its menu in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv in the next six weeks.
Developed by Nestle, the vegan burger will feature a patty made out of wheat and soybean. This new burger will be similar to "The Big Vegan" introduced by McDonald’s in Germany earlier this year.
As per the Jerusalem Post, the burger will be first made available in Tel Aviv, but it is unclear whether these new vegan burgers will be available at all 180 locations across Israel or whether they will be Kosher certified.
Kosher certified foods are those that conform to the Jewish dietary regulations.
