Cloud-kitchen player Ignite Foods welcomes Chef Amit Puri as Partner and Director

Cloud Kitchen Company Ignite Foods announced that it has appointed Chef Amit Puri as Partner and Director.

This alliance gives both partners; Chef Puri and Vaibhav Lodha, Founder and Director at Ignite Foods, the opportunity to leverage each other’s strengths across varying skill sets and deliver experiences that will resonate with the target audience.

Amit Puri brings over 20 years of culinary experience to Ignite Foods and has worked with all the leading names in the industry. Having begun his career with the Taj group of hotels, he has made his name using traditional recipes as a reference and thereafter adding his individual stamp on them. His style is fresh, contemporary and propelled by flavour.

The recently released book ‘Redefining Comfort Food With Amit Puri’, written by Amit Puri is the culmination of his journey so far. Featuring over 100 recipes, it is a must-have for any cook be it a beginner or an experienced one.

“After working, travelling extensively for food and writing a book on food, I felt ready to take the leap to partnering the business. Having an equal say in creativity, quality and management is exhilarating. With our complementary skill sets, we look forward to meeting the expectations of existing and future customers. Launched in November 2019, Ignite Foods offer a vegetarian selection of cuisines through 4 virtual brands and more in the pipeline.

“In order to cope with booming demand, August 2020 will see the opening of 2 additional kitchens in Mumbai,” it added.
