Breaking the Monotony With Chef's Day Out

Nothing gets a family more charged for the week ahead than a relaxed Sunday. A gastronomic adventure and some mouth-watering delights are often a crucial part of such Sundays. To ensure this it is common for chefs around the world to work through the weekend as an outlet be it big or small gets maximum traction in that time frame. Therefore, to express the gratitude for these culinary masters who pour their undying passion and love into their craft each and every day and their patient families, the team at The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa decided to host a Chef's Day Out recently.

The multi-property Executive Chef Anurudh Khanna along with the food, lifestyle and travel columnist Rupali Dean invited Chefs from various other luxury hotels and F&B outlets across Delhi NCR along with their families for a fun-filled relaxed Chef's Day Out on Sunday at The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa.

Reflecting upon this idea Chef Anurudh said "The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa has a multitude of recreational activities and options that allows all family members to come together and break the monotony of a busy hectic week. The day started with all the families coming together early afternoon and indulging in some welcome snacks along with wine and beer followed by games and live music. To keep the kids, engaged and happy, the resort prepped the zoo and kid's activity area which allowed the parents ample time to rejuvenate and catch up.

A show around of the lush green 52 - acre property was next wherein the guests were thrilled to know about various in house activities and experiences like Water Polo, Cricket, Go Karting, Spa by the Lake, Horse Riding, Paintball, Star Gazing to name a few.

The day concluded with high tea organised by the lake for our chefs and their families. While the Monday blues had already started dawning upon some of them, most of them said that this Sunday was a much-needed break they thoroughly enjoyed and rightly deserved.
