BMC warns city restaurants & Bars, says may lose license if found violating rules

BMC has warned restaurants and bars in the city especially in the Parel and Bandra area of violating the coronavirus guidelines.

According to BMC, restaurants and hotels were found violating Covid-19 rules and social distancing norms.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has also mentioned that if restaurants and hotels would not follow the set parameters and measures, it will request the state government of a night curfew, starting from 11 at night till 6 in the morning.

BMC will be monitoring restaurants, bars and hotels till 20th December.

It also said that a verbal warning has been issued to all nightclubs, pubs and restaurants in Mumbai

BMC raided a nightclub last week that was hosting around 450 guests and was operational beyond 11:30 PM, though BMC has guided hotels and other businesses to operate till 11:30 PM.

Also, there were around 68 customers who were dining without mask.

The FIR against restaurant manager has also been done.
