Radiohead Brands, owner of Jimmy’s Finely Crafted Cocktail Mixers, announced that celebrated mixologist and beverage consultant Yangdup Lama, will join them as Head of Product & Innovations.

Yangdup will act as product evangelist for Jimmy’s and will work closely with the founding team to further develop its range of bar quality cocktails, as well as co-create new lines of spirits mixers.

The company wants to keep its product line fresh with new flavour launches every quarter this year, and has its sights set to grab shelves at several international markets soon.

We are very excited to have Yangdup as part of team Jimmy’s. Jimmy’s has seen a phenomenal response pan India since its launch, and we want to continue to enhance the home drinking experience with more exciting variants,” shared Ankur Bhatia, Founder, Jimmy’s Cocktails.

Besides being an accomplished mixologist and a successful entrepreneur (as co-owner of 2 award winning bars), Yangdup dons many hats as a beverage craftsman. He is the driving force behind the reputed Cocktails & Dreams Bar School, author of a cocktail book and was featured as one of the 100 Most Influential Figures in the Global Beverage Industry in 2020, by Drinks International Magazine, UK. More recently Yangdup’s bar in New Delhi – Sidecar, was voted #16 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021 and #91 by the Worlds 100 Best in 2020, a first for any Indian bar.

I am very happy to don the mantle of Head of Products for Jimmy’s Cocktails. They have had a fantastic first year, and were able to burst the myth that ‘cocktails’ is limited to being a bar consumption trend,” added Lama.

Jimmy’s Cocktails was launched in 2019, with the vision to allow consumers to recreate gourmet bar style cocktails in the comfort of their home without the stress and fuss involved in cocktail making.  It is now in 2500 retail outlets across 25 cities, and selling directly to consumers from their website jimmyscocktails.com as well as prominent third party online shopping platforms like Amazon, Big Basket & Cred among others, delivering to over 400 cities.
