The Beer House Cafe is a combination of a lounge bar and pub and is a place where one will get the world's renowned 30+ beer brands. 

In an interview with Restaurant India, Yudhveer Singh, Founder and Owner of The Beer House Cafe speaks on how he came up with the concept.

The Beer House Café Or The Beer Paradise!

The Beer House Cafe is known for its attractive property and sensational ambience in Indirapuram Habitat Center. Restaurant survives on the philosophy of serving good food that is the most important thing in the food industry. Starting from humble roots, The Beer House has been building a cafe in the heart of Delhi's most colourful and prominent neighbourhood. The desire for classic gastronomy and a strong influence of our fellow-travellers pushed me to voice my passion by projecting some of the world-renowned 30+ beer brands in our little space that we fondly call as a "Beer Paradise".

Came from the Government Civil services, later I joined the real estate and now I am a restaurateur. The main concept aims to build a proper restaurant and working for the same. When I decided to start a restaurant I realized that there is a lack of decent places for boozing especially for girls in Ghaziabad or near Ghaziabad and affordability for students was also a concern here, so, I took a step forward to come up with a decent and affordable lounge bar, pub, fine dining and where people of any age group can enjoy. 

Mistakes While Drafting the Plan for Restaurant

Starting a food business is as easy as making a pie but getting yourself into an already crowded market is really convoluted nowadays. I don't remember as such a mistake that we committed while drafting a plan for the restaurant. What happens is, when you plan a restaurant, the investment is too high to afford any mistake!

Importance of Location and Cost Involved for the Restaurant Business
 
As you need the right ingredients to produce a bottle of beer, similarly, you need the right location; it is important to target the right audience. Like I told you, I aimed to choose a decent place as decency really matters when you plan to start a restaurant which is not only fine dining but also a combination of a lounge bar and pub. And talking about the cost, I have invested somewhere around Rs 2-3 crore.

Average per Month Footfall at The Beer House Cafe

It's like 200 to 250 people in a weekday and it gets doubled during weekends. So yes, up to 20k to 22k is the average per month footfall.

Veg and Non-Veg Platters are the most preferred dish from our menu. 
 
The Business Impact 

Came from the Government Civil services, later joined the real estate and now became the restaurateur. I was ready to make people fan of my concept and food! Now I own a small commercial requirement in Indirapuram and aim to build a proper restaurant and working for the same. Talking about the revenue, it would be approximately Rs 30 to 40 lakh per month. 

Points to keep in mind for a restaurateur who wants to open a concept restaurant in Delhi

It is all about understanding the restaurant business, choosing the right location, serving good quality food, and a good marketing team and most importantly staff satisfaction is the most important thing to keep in mind for a restaurateur.
