First in India: Cafe Delhi Heights now open at The Red Fort

The Mughlai Butter Chicken smothered with fresh cream, a dollop of butter, some Mirchi-adrak ka tadka & Laccha Parantha definitely tastes much better when savoured at Delhi’s evergreen attraction, a 374-year-old grandeur of the Mughal Empire - the Red Fort.

Delhi’s favourite all-day casual neighbourhood cafe, Cafe Delhi Heights has opened its outlet at one of the capital’s most favourite historical destinations, the iconic Lal Quila.

Serving its delectable courses amidst the heritage, Cafe Delhi Heights is India’s first restaurant to be situated inside a world-renowned National heritage monument.

On this milestone of being the first-ever cafe in India to have opened its doors from a heritage monument, Vikrant Batra, founder Cafe Delhi Heights shared, “ Food and Culture are inseparable, and it's my honour & privilege to be able to facilitate an amalgamation of Delhi’s most favourite comfort food being served at the Red Fort. Our endeavour at Cafe Delhi Heights has always been to serve authentic & flavourful food with a touch of history, a punch of nostalgia smothered with love to our patrons who have been on this journey with us for the last 11 years.”

Cafe Delhi Heights at the Red Fort is designed to allow the cafe to be an extension of this architectural splendour, known for its design, fine Red sandstone and a seamless fusion of many cultures in one including the Islamic, Persian & Hindu. The minimal seating allows the Mughal vibe of the place to accentuate keeping the culture & the ambience of the fort intact. Blending in with the architecture of the Quila, the interiors include an array of paintings and frames taking one through the history of the Indian culture.

“Gourmands can enjoy the pleasure of relishing from a menu that is a culinary atlas full of toothsome, hearty and mouth-watering delicacies. From hearty breakfasts to palatable lunches and divine dinners, find an array of cuisines, flavours & variety under one roof. As you adore the breath-taking views of the Red Fort, enjoy and savour along with Cafe Delhi Height’s Bestsellers and chef specials,” added Chef Ashish Singh.
