Portugal theme restaurant

Newly open Barcelos at Hauz khas, a casual dining restaurant, has tried to create a cozy ambience. This restaurant is spread across 3000 sq ft, with 48 covered seats in the outlet.

As Barcelos is a town in Portugal, this outlet has theme of Portugal which reflects raw and rustic interiors and designs at the restaurant. Each wall of the restaurant depicts a story of Portugal, which is unique and attractive. The famous personalities and different shades of Portugal have been painted on the walls.

Moreover, the 3D painting of real streets of Portugal on the wall is quite fascinating, which creates an authentic ambience of a Portugal town inside the restaurant. Paintings of the birds on the stairway, white painting on red brick walls and the posters were beautiful to look at. The designer of the outlet is Dikshit Gandhi from Design Radiance. The interiors include furniture, floor and tiling and have been done keeping the raw theme in mind. The restaurant has wooden flooring and .the furniture is also of Portuguese pattern.

In the menu, Veg platter includes kebabs, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed potatoes, paneer and grilled veggies. In chicken platter, guests can enjoy chicken wings, drumsticks, boneless thighs with onion and peppers and chicken liver cooked with garlic sauce.

Additionally, Barcelos Signature Dish (Peri Peri grilled chicken), Veg Espetada, a hanging dish skewed with stuffed mushrooms, potato, paneer and bell peppers, served with fries. Chicken Espetada, a hanging dish skewed with chicken breast, onion and peppers. Veg Mini Burger platter has the famous red and black burgers and non Veg Mini Burger Platter includes chicken as well as mutton burger.

Arabic Mezze Platter is served with four kinds of dips. In desserts, it has chocolate truffle cake with biscotti and nitrogen vanilla ice cream.

Four signature sauces of Barcelos are Tangy Lemon, Mild Peri, Veri Peri and Supa Peri, each of these sauces are one of its kinds in taste.

The maximum footfall is during lunch and dinner times, which is between 1:30pm – 4pm and 7:30pm -12am respectively. Hence, Barcelos has amazing décor, drinks and lip smacking food.
