The journey

Gulati, serving since 1959, is today, one of the most well-known restaurants for best varieties of North Indian, Mughlai, Hyderabadi and Tandoori delicacies. What started out as a modest Dhaba in 1959, has now transformed into not just a large professionally managed restaurant right in the heart of the Capital at Pandara Road Market, but has also become a landmark in its own way.

The menu

With one of the most elaborate menus in the city, Gulati boasts of the most exotic preparations. The taste, aroma and flavours of the scrumptious and yummy dishes will make you come back for more. One of its most distinguishing aspects is its Hyderabadi Cuisine section. Specially flown in Chefs from the city of Nizams cook up some of the most delectable items, like Hyderabadi Biryani, Murgh Handi, Paneer Hyderabadi & more. And for the Veg loving Delhites, Gulati has a wide menu to choose from. One of their specialties are Dahi Kebab, Kashmiri Dum Aloo and Dal Makhani. Bite into any of these and one can realise their unconditional love for well-cooked food. With the main course truly being a work of art, Special Fruit Cream in the delicious dessert section is not far off. No wonder their Shahi Dal Makhani has been rated as the very best in the capital by Eating Out magazine. Apart from that, they also serve one of the best Butter Chickens in Delhi.

Innovation is the key

Gulati has also been serving ‘Buffet Lunch’ for past many years. The menu of the buffet changes everyday and offers a new experience to the taste buds on a daily basis. A true food connoisseur cannot control the temptation of returning to the restaurant after having these lip-smacking cuisines.

One of the best things for spiritual people out there is the fact that Gulati hosts special ‘Navratra food festival’ during the Navratra season and offers fasting food as well as vegetarian food without onion-garlic including Navratra Thali. The restaurant has also hosted special food festivals like Hyderabadi Food Festival, Biryani Festival, Kebab Festival, Tawa Festival to name a few on a regular basis. These too bring many accolades in its kitty from patrons.
