Who cares whether it is a week day or one is on an off from the daily routine, the much awaited match between India and Australia has made the cricket lovers to go crazy on spending high at restaurants and pubs. And what is more exciting for the restaurants, bars, pubs and breweries across the country is to see their outlets completely booked and sold out.

Restaurants and bars across the country have come up with exciting offers and live screening of the match at their outlets. Places such as TGIF, Social Offline, Striker Pub & Brewery, Zu Tisch, Neighbourhood Bar & Grill, Pebble Street and The Blue Door amongst others are selling right to their customers today.

Zu Tisch located at GK-I M block market, Delhi is screening matches from 9 am in the morning and has come up with exciting offers for the cricket lovers.

“We will be offering free beers to the customers who wear ‘Blue’ shirt today on every wicket India takes of Australia,” says, Pulkit Khurana, one of the partners at Zu Tisch.

The bar is also having happy hours from 11 in the morning today till the match ends and has introduced ‘special bucket’ at Rs 999 plus taxes for the customers.

The Blue Door Cafe has started serving breakfast from 7 in the morning today to customers, seeing the madness for the India-Australia match.

Meanwhile, Social Offline outlets by Riyaaz Amlani is organising live screening of the matches at all its location be it Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru and all the socials are fully booked for today.

Speaking on the World Cup Screening at Colaba Social Riyaaz Amlani says, “Enjoying any sport is about the experience around it, and what is a good World Cup match without  some  good grub and drinks with friends. We want to create a fun space for everyone, right from the die-heart Ravindra Jadeja fan to the one swooning over Stuart Broad, with many surprises through the month and a half of craziness.”

“Keeping fever of cricket high we at Cafe Sababa offer you big live screens where customers can get their patriotic spirit alive and support India by enjoying the match with the amazing lip smacking food,” shares Sachin Kukreja and Samit Raheja, Owners, Cafe Sababa.

Ruchir Vora, Owner, Score Sports Bar, Mumbai shares, "In some of the corporate bookings we have got, it's the bosses who are taking their teams out. We are nearly sold for the big match and to accommodate the additional rush we are trying to add more capacity in the outlet.

Fio Cookhouse and Bar located at Epicuria Mall, Nehru Place, Delhi, is also organising live screening from 12 pm onwards today with great deals on foods and beverages.

However, the scene is different at Striker Pub in Gurgaon, as most bookings at the pub have come up from large groups.

“There are people from companies like American Express, Nestle and Grant Thornton who have booked with us,” says Rajnish Kumar, Restaurant Manager, Striker Pub & Brewery.

On asking about the responses, he shares, “We don’t have enough space and are already packed for today’s match.”

Dharmender Singh chef cum owner of The Ancient Barbeque, shares “As a cricket fan we decided to showcase the match and give the experience to the families and friends to enjoy 2nd semi final live match to cheer for India in the restaurant.”

Commenting on the same, Kanishk Tuteja, 1 OAK, says, “"Keeping our patrons in mind and the crazy love for cricket in India, we decided to stream the 2nd semi final live, the response is mind boggling as the guests are enjoying their drinks and food while watching the match and shouting their lungs out to cheer for India."

Neighbour Hood Bar & Grill has come up with- Let's Shout together! Let's cheer together! Let's enjoy together! Let's Bleed Blue together deal by offering great deals on food today.

Savar Malhotra, Working Partner, The Embassy Restaurant says, “We have placed a big screen to attract cricket lovers. Some of the matches can’t be viewed due to the odd timings. However, we are expecting a huge footfall on the day of finale as we are trying to start our services as early as possible.”

“Here’s a deal, when India plays at World Cup, we are open at 9 in the morning,” Neighbourhood Bar & Grill FB page says.

“The month to cheer Blue with some handcrafted beer,” says the FB page of Bengaluru-based 3 Monkeys BrewPub.

Thus, we can see that the cricket lovers together with their love for food is bleeding blue today with cups in both their hands.
